Depends on how it’s built. A character that’s an openly digital and polished presence (a mascot, an illustration, an avatar with personality) is perceived exactly for what it is: part of the brand, not a deception. No one gets angry at Mickey Mouse for not being human. Honesty is the key. Today’s audience recognizes AI and wants it to be authentically AI, not impersonating.
Our position: We don’t try to deceive visitors and don’t support attempts to pass off a character as a real person. We don’t offer Deepfake services and won’t produce characters impersonating real people. Your presenter is a clear part of the brand’s digital identity, not a forgery of a real human.
